Common questions

How does a binary option work?

You predict whether a price will finish higher or lower than now when the timer runs out. A correct call returns your stake plus a fixed percentage; a wrong call costs the whole stake.

Does any Asian regulator license these platforms?

No. They work from offshore companies. Our reviews name the entity behind each one and list the official warnings we found.

How do you put platforms in order?

Five criteria with fixed weights: platform and apps, costs, payment methods, support, and licensing and openness. Because none holds a strong licence, the last criterion caps every score.

Why doesn't a platform appear in my market?

We list a platform in a market only when its own terms accept residents there. If a platform blocks the market or we can't confirm it, it stays off the list.

Are binary options allowed in Asia?

It varies. India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore have warned against or banned them, and Japan allows only licensed local firms. In markets such as Thailand, the Philippines or Pakistan, offshore platforms accept clients without a local licence.

What is the smallest amount I can start with?

Most platforms let you open an account with USD 10; the range runs from USD 5 to USD 250. Try the free demo first, then deposit only what you can lose.

What win rate do I need to break even?

Divide 1 by (1 + payout). With a 90% payout you must win about 52.6% of trades just to stay level, and lower payouts raise the bar.

How do withdrawals work?

Upload an ID and a proof of address first. Money normally goes back to the method you deposited with, and an unfinished bonus can hold it up.

Is a deposit bonus worth taking?

Usually not. Bonuses lock your balance until you have traded a large multiple of the bonus. You can refuse them in the cashier.

How does BinaryChooser earn money?

Some platforms pay us when a reader opens an account through our links. Payments never change a score or put a platform into a market where it doesn't accept residents.

Why is my market missing a ranking?

We publish a platform list only where retail binary options are not banned and at least one platform confirms it accepts residents. In India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore and Japan that is not the case, so those pages explain the rules instead.

Risk warning

A binary or digital option pays a fixed amount that is smaller than the amount you put at risk. Over hundreds of trades that gap works against you, so losing is the expected outcome, not bad luck.

The platforms on BinaryChooser are run by offshore companies. No regulator in Thailand, the Philippines, Pakistan, Bangladesh or anywhere else in Asia supervises them, and there is no compensation scheme if one closes or holds back your money. India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore have warned the public about such platforms.

Do not trade with borrowed money, savings for rent or school fees, or money you cannot lose. Nobody legitimate will ask you to pay a 'release fee' for a withdrawal or to hand over your login on Telegram or WhatsApp.
